The Academy for Formation and Mission begins its winter term on January 6 (and ends March 31).  Prospective students (lay, postulants, or ordained) may enroll for one course or for the entire program. This winter, Friday evening’s class is Liturgical Practice and Homiletics. On Saturday, we offer New Testament II (Epistles and Revelation) with Dr. A.J. Swoboda and Anglican Ethos II (Christian Ethics in the Anglican Tradition) with Dr. Ian Doescher. Tuition for one class is $200 ($125 for Friday); the  entire term (including Field Education) is $500. Please apply by December 14.

The mission of the Academy is to develop a community of seekers, workers, learners and listeners eager to carry out the Gospel in word and action. It does so primarily through rigorous, semester-long course work integrated with in-depth practical experience, providing lay and ordained leaders with the theological education and spiritual formation to serve the ever-changing and challenging 21st-Century church.

The Academy for Formation and Mission provides a quality, affordable, diocesan formation opportunity for priests, deacons and lay leaders. The Academy’s course work, practical experience, and community life prepares students for traditional and pioneer ministries.
